quick trip maximum fun!

We took a quick road trip to Idaho to see my parents. Grandma set up a suprise for my 3 munchkins. They were suprised with riding horses. They got to groom them and prep them and saddle them. They learned how to manage the horse and much to my motherly nervous heart they all had a chance to ride alone without a guide rope. It was a blast they loved it that is all they talked about for the rest of the trip. My city slickers looked like real country folk up on those horses. After the hours with the horses, they spent some time roaming the sage brush hills behind grandmas house. It was fun to see them enjoying themselves. The boys found big sticks and made walking sticks and wacked big sage brush "dragons" down to size. It was a nice quick trip. It was fun to see the kiddos enjoy the simple life out in the "country" where kids can truly be kids.
