Our trip!!!

We were gone for 11 days. Each one jam packed full of memories and adventure. This was our smoothest vacation. No trouble with flights no hic ups in plans everything was wonderful!

highlights:

The first day was just a travel day. Our 2nd plane was miserable because it was a really loud flight. day 2: Universal studios. A very wet day. We learned very quickly that if you wanted to stay wet and yucky all day go on all the water rides first thing in the morning so that you would be wet all day due to the high humidity didn't allow much evaparation. We also learned quickly that ponchos on water rides were geeky but worth wearing on wet rides. D-man was picked to be one of the volunteers for the disaster movie Ride he thought that was great!

Day 3: Islands of adventure of universal studios. What can I say except HARRY POTTER IS AWESOME! I truly felt like I fell into the books as we walked through hogsmead. They had so many details and wonderful things tucked in every little corner I could have spent all day just looking in all the shops and windows. And butter beer is s very yummy we had to get it several times. We went over to disney world to catch fantasmic afterward.

day 4: Animal kingdom. About half way through the day we spent the day in ponchos. Our favorite parts there were the parade there and the lion king show. The parade started just as the rain did so only the people in the first 100 yards got to see the parade as they started and then truned right around and parked inside a gate. hooray tht we were within those few yards. We went over to magic kingdom to do a couple things in timorrow land and watch the fireworks since the rain had stopped.

Day 5: We slept in, hung out in downtown disney shops, and headed over to Gatorland! All of my kiddos sat on a real alive alligator. It had it mouth taped and a gator wrangler was there with them. I was not as brave as they were.

Day 6: We went to church and walked around the temple grounds. We went to the church that the website recommended this time and didn't have to sit through spanish speaking services like our last trip to Florida. The temple grounds were beautiful. It even had orange trees.

Day 7: epcot. They had a kim Possible mission thing where you were given a cell phone to recieve instructions in the different countries and we had to solve the mysterious crimes.

Day 8:Sea World. Another very wet and rainy day! But, we watched a sea lion show that had amny blunders in it so it was even more comedy than expected. We had a chance to feed the sealions and pet sting rays. We really enjoyed hanging out in the dolphin nursery and the shamu show! We were a bit sad to hear that the following monday Oct. 4th that one of the whales had died. We wondered if we had seen it in the show or not.

Day 9: Magic kingdom. We had a magical time visiting all out favorite haunts at this park. My daughter said that the haunted mansion freaked her out and wouldn't go back to it. But the following day she loved tower of terror. Go figure! Anyway another great day.

Day 10: Last park of vacation. Hollywood studios. J-man loved the indiana jones stunt show and the lights motors action stunt show! They were both very cool! We were lucky to go on toy story mania twice with out having to stand in the 90-120 minute wait in line.

last day we had several hours until we went back to the airport. So we went back to hit our favorites at Magic kingdom and Hollywood studios. then we hopped on our plane and headed home. It was wonderful!

So there you have it. A tiny glimps of the fun that we had down in Florida.
